He dropped out of school at the age of 16 and became a rock musician in bands called “The Kids.” His father, a civil engineer, was not supportive of his career choice and he often lived on tight budgets.

In 1993, Depp starred in Benny and Joon and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, a pair of films that helped him develop his character and earn critical acclaim. He also acted in several independent movies, including Dead Man (1995), Donnie Brasco (1997) and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), based on the gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson’s pseudo-autobiographical novel of the same name.

In 2004, Depp founded Infinitum Nihil, a film production company that produces projects for him to act in and produce. He currently serves as its CEO and his sister, Christi Dembrowski, is its president.
He is an American actor

Johnny Depp was born on June 9th, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky to John and Betty Depp. He was the youngest of four children, and his family often moved around a lot.

He started playing guitar at the age of 12, and later joined a band called The Kids, which was a success. But his parents divorced, and he dropped out of school to pursue a career in music.

His first movie role came in 1984 when Nicholas Cage, who introduced him to an agent, got him a role in the horror-drama Nightmare on Elm Street. He also starred in Platoon and Slow Burn, before joining 21 Jump Street.

He teamed up with director Tim Burton again in Sleepy Hollow, where he played the prim Ichabod Crane. He was nominated for an Academy Award and won the Golden Globe Award for his performance. He also appeared in several other films, including Alice in Wonderland, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
He is a musician

Before he was a heartthrob on 21 Jump Street, got weird with Tim Burton or played a pirate version of Keith Richards, Johnny Depp had always wanted to be a musician. It started when he was 12 years old and his mother gave him a guitar.

He then began playing in various bands and he even dropped out of school to pursue his dream. He was able to do that because the principal of his high school was so impressed by his musical talent that she told him to follow his dream and not return to school for two weeks.

He has been involved in a variety of bands over the years and has also written some songs. He has also contributed to some albums by big artists like Alice Cooper and Aerosmith.
He has two children

Johnny Depp has two children with French singer Vanessa Paradis. They met on the set of The Ninth Gate in 1998 and shared a 14-year relationship that resulted in the birth of Lily-Rose Melody Depp in 1999 and Jack Christopher Depp III in 2002.

He and Vanessa separated in 2012. But he continues to be very close with his children, keeping them up to date on his activities and helping them grow up as best he can.

His son Jack is a lot less out in the public eye than his daughter. While he does act, he doesn’t seem interested in following in his father’s footsteps and instead lives a very quiet life.

It’s no secret that Johnny Depp has had a rough go of it in the past, but he’s currently enjoying life after winning a libel trial against Amber Heard. However, he’s still being accused of a lot of bad behavior. And one of the most recent accusations is that he refused to investigate a 23-year-old man who was accused of statutory rape of his daughter.
